Two Basketball Camps offered at Pope

Pope High School presents Aladdin

Pope High School will feature the beloved musical, Aladdin at 7 p.m. on May 6, 7, 13, 14, and 15, in the Pope auditorium. People of all ages will be entertained as students act, sing, and dance their way through the streets of Agrabah!

Ticket prices are $5 students, $10 adults, and VIP tickets (first five rows, center stage) are $15. To experience the flavor of Agrabah, drop by J. Christopher’s on Johnson Ferry road through May 15 and order an Aladdin Latte. Your receipt allows $1 off your ticket. Tickets may be purchased at the door the day of each show. Husky 101 Camp Offered to Rising Sixth-Graders

Just a few slots remain for each of the one-day Husky 101 Camp Sessions June 7, 14, and 21 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. So, hurry now and sign up your child to participate in this opportunity to develop organization strategies for middle school success, learn to open a locker, understand the summer reading requirements, meet some teachers, find Connections classrooms, the media center and the cafeterias, as well as to eliminate some of those first-day-of-middle school jitters! Pope Cheer Mini Camps start in May

Pope Cheerleading Association will offer two camps for rising kindergarten through fifth-grade students. This camp is open to all, regardless of high school district.

The sessions are 9 a.m. to noon May 24 to 27; and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 28 to 30. The camp is held in the Pope High gymnasium and teaches fundamentals of cheerleading, such as dance, cheer chant, simple stunts and jumps. For more information or to register, visit www.popecheerleading.com.
